Callaway Steelhead X-16 4 Iron Graphite Regular

Description:

The Callaway Steelhead X-16 4 Iron is a classic game-improvement iron that remains a favorite among mid-to-high handicap golfers looking for forgiveness and distance. The large cavity-back design, prominently badged with the iconic Callaway Golf blue Steelhead X-16 oval, provides a generous sweet spot that helps minimize the impact of off-center strikes. The number 4 is clearly stamped on both the topline and the face, making this a reliable long iron option for approach shots and tight fairway situations. This iron is fitted with a graphite shaft in Regular flex, making it an excellent choice for players who prefer a lighter feel and smoother swing tempo. The measured length of 38.25 inches is approximately 1/4 inch longer than the standard men's 4 iron length of 38 inches, which may provide a slight advantage in distance for many players. The club head shows normal signs of use with light scratches on the sole and topline consistent with regular play. The face grooves remain well-defined and fully functional for proper spin and ball control. The original Callaway branded grip displays moderate wear with some smoothing, and a replacement grip may be considered to restore full tackiness and performance. Overall, this is a solid performing 4 iron in good playable condition, ready to be put into the bag.
