Callaway Hawk Eye VFT 6 Iron Graphite Regular

Description:

The Callaway Hawk Eye VFT 6 Iron is a classic example of Callaway's innovative titanium iron technology from the late 1990s and early 2000s. The 'VFT' stands for Variable Face Thickness, a technology designed to maximize ball speed and distance across the entire face. The club features Callaway's signature blue oval badge with 'Hawk Eye VFT' and 'Tungsten Injected Titanium' labeling on the cavity back, along with the iconic Callaway hawk badge on the toe side. The large cavity back design provides excellent forgiveness and helps golfers of all skill levels achieve consistent results, making it a popular choice for mid-to-high handicappers. The club is paired with a graphite shaft in Regular flex, making it well-suited for players seeking additional distance and a smoother feel at impact. The iron measures 37 inches in length, which is standard for a 6 iron. The club face shows typical signs of use with some light wear in the impact zone, and the overall condition is good. The black rubber grip with a chevron texture pattern is in functional condition with moderate wear, though a replacement grip may be considered for optimal performance. This iron is a great pick for players looking for distance-oriented technology at an accessible price point.
