Ben Hogan Apex Edge Iron Set 3-PW Steel Apex 3 Regular

Description:

This Ben Hogan Apex Edge iron set covers a full range from 3-iron through pitching wedge, offering eight clubs built on Ben Hogan's legendary commitment to forged precision. The 'FORGED' stamp is clearly visible on the hosel of each iron, a hallmark of the Apex Edge line's quality construction. The faces show a classic muscle-back blade style with clean horizontal grooves, characteristic of this highly regarded forged iron series that was favored by better players seeking exceptional feel and workability. These clubs have seen considerable use. The faces and soles across the set display heavy wear, with visible scratching, scuffing, and bag marks throughout — particularly on the shorter irons and pitching wedge. The cavity areas show surface wear consistent with extended play. The irons are fitted with orange rubber replacement grips that present in fair condition, showing moderate wear and some soiling but remaining functional. The steel shafts paired with the Apex 3 shaft profile provide a mid-weight feel well-suited to a Regular flex swing tempo. This set represents an opportunity to own a classic piece of Ben Hogan craftsmanship at an accessible price point, ideal for a collector or a player who doesn't mind re-gripping and buffing up a well-played set of forged blades.
