These clubs are timeless, especially in this ‘era’ of the hottest golf balls made.

Have been playing my set of 845’s for 20 years. Am a legitimate single digit handicap, found my 845’s on eBay for an incredibly low price. Entire set for a left hand golfer, this was like a winning lottery ticket: stiff flex shafts, all the original Tommy Armour labels on each shaft. Original black logo imprinted rubber grips- still tacky, never replaced them. Keep grips clean, wash them-Yes,wash them! With Ivory soap in hot water. They WILL LAST A VERY LONG TIME. Don’t waste $$ on new grips every 2 years. Sorry. Back to my set: A 1,2 and 3 irons thru PW and SW. who plays a 1 or 2 iron nowadays? I do, I don’t need hybrids. I don’t play from the tips of a 7,300 yard course. I play courses with blues at 6,900 no more than 7,000 yards. Only play 2 wedges and keep the 2 iron in my bag with the usual driver, 3 and 5 woods. These golf balls really go with these clubs. I’ll never pay $1,300 for a new halfway set of Callaway’s and some hybrids. Take time and find a good set of used clubs- like these. New golfers today are being robbed.
